Southern Indiana photographer
Bio
I'm Kim, a transracial adoptee from South Korea. The name Rokwon holds a deep emotional connection for me, representing the orphanage where I was once placed before my adoption journey began. While Bloomington, Indiana was once my home, I now find serenity amidst the rolling hills of Nashville, Indiana, alongside my husband, Tom.
In January 2019, a twist of fate touched my soul deeply. Discovering that my biological mother had never stopped searching for me, even after five decades, filled me with overwhelming gratitude. However, this reunion highlighted the absence of photographic evidence capturing my earliest days. This absence has always stirred a sense of longing within me, emphasizing the importance of capturing life's fleeting moments. For me, photographs are more than just images; they are windows into hope, symbols of everything precious and worth celebrating.
It would be my privilege to help share your unique story, capturing your cherished memories, and preserving your legacy for generations to come.
